+Do I need a resurface or a full replacement?
It depends on the base underneath. If the base is still sound and the surface is just tired, cracked or faded, an overlay will usually do it. If the base has failed, you will see potholes coming back in the same spots and edges crumbling, and an overlay will fail the same way. We look before we quote and tell you which one you are actually dealing with.
+When is the right time of year to pave?
Asphalt needs warmth to compact properly, so the main season runs through the warmer months. Sealcoating has its own timing. If you call out of season we will tell you honestly whether to wait rather than selling you work that will not hold.
+How long will my driveway be out of use?
It varies by size and by what we find once the old surface is off. We will give you a realistic window with your estimate rather than a number designed to win the job.
+What affects the price?
Square footage, the condition of the existing surface, how much we need to mill or excavate, drainage, access for the equipment, and the thickness of the finished surface. That is why we quote on site instead of over the phone.
+Do you do small jobs?
Yes. Large commercial work is no problem and smaller residential work is no problem.
+Is the owner really on every job?
Yes. Charlie is on site for the work we take on. It is the main reason the finish is consistent.
+Are you licensed and insured in both states?
Yes, in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. NJ HIC 13VH01381000 and PA HIC 017633. We are also a BBB accredited business with an A+ rating.
